Our Story
In 1977, our company’s founder, a gentleman farmer named Paul, returned to his hometown of Hamburg, Illinois to pursue his quest for the perfect popcorn. When he finally identified the kernel that met his
satisfaction, he sowed his 200-acre farm and White Cat Corn was born.
Over the years, we have received accolades from food editors at The Chicago Tribune and The Washington Post.
It’s rumored even Chuck Williams, the founder of Williams Sonoma, gave us an honorable mention in an interview with Gourmet Magazine. However, the most important reviews come from our customers. “White Cat Corn is the biggest, fluffiest, tastiest popcorn I have ever had!” says one.
Our little company has grown a bit over the years, but one thing has and never will change – the simple, wholesome goodness of White Cat Corn.
